At ESP Design we like to work closely with you, our client, from start to finish.

We appreciate this process can be a little daunting but exciting at the same time, to give you an idea of the design process here are our seven steps to a successful project:

Step 3 – Scheme Design

We will create the full scheme design based on the survey. This kick starts the creative process of your project, where we fully encompass your requirements through creative architectural design, creating the spaces that you want.

Step 4 – Design Approval & Planning Application

Once you are happy with our proposals we will apply for planning permission. Upon receipt of planning approval, if required, we will proceed to resolve any planning conditions to complete the planning process.

Step 5 – Technical Construction Drawings & Building Regulations Approval

We will produce technically detailed drawings, including specifications to comply with the current building regulations. We will liaise and coordinate with structural engineers and other 3rd party consultants to ensure you have a comprehensive set of drawings to move forward with.

Step 6 – Tender Process

We can manage the tender process, issue our technical drawings to multiple contractors and liaise with them on your behalf.

Step 7 – Construction Phase

We are available throughout the build program to assist either you, our client or the main contractor as and when required.
