New library and classroom block to an existing school in York for MAC Consulting.

As designers we were asked to develop some elevations and a site plan based on approved floor plans by the Pathfinder Multi Academy Trust.  Our brief was to design a contemporary building using modular construction methods due to the time constraints of the construction phase.  We were also asked to look at simplifying the level changes to ease congestion around the school.

Using the latest Lumion Pro Software we were able to showcase our designs using a palette of materials and colours sympathetic to it’s surroundings, while creating a new statement building at the entrance to the school.
